Our team
Mike Justice
Lead Pastor
Mike is a Buckeye from Ohio, but we don't hold that against him—much. Mike met his wife Lois at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and they have been married for 34 years. They have two adult kids: Emily, who is married to Hunter, and Drew.
Mike was a Youth Pastor for over 20 years before becoming our Lead Pastor in January 2010. He has a Bachelor's degree in Religion, a Master's Degree in Divinity, and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Pastor Mike's passion is developing disciples who make disciples—he loves to help people make the next step in their spiritual journey to Christlikeness. As well as being our Lead Pastor, Mike serves our community as the Chaplain for the Scott County Sheriff’s Office. In his "down time," Mike loves to fish, hunt, golf, and read.
Caleb Erway
Youth and Community Pastor
Caleb is a Maze and Blue Wolverine, as he was born and raised in Morenci, Michigan. He met his wife Angie at Olivet Nazarene University, where he graduated and was commissioned as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. Caleb served on active duty for over 10 years and continues to serve in the National Guard. He and Angie have been married for 12 years and have three kids: CJ, Izzy, and Gabe.
Caleb felt the call to ministry while working at Amazon in Colorado, and made the choice to follow the Holy Spirit to Asbury Theological Seminary for a Masters of Divinity degree. He has since followed the call to the Youth and Community Pastor role here at GCN.
Pastor Caleb is passionate about teaching youth the depth of God's power and grace as it relates to their lives. He hopes to expand their mind to the different ways that God interacts with them as they travel through life. In his down time, Caleb loves to spend time with his family backpacking, playing sports, playing games, and cutting down trees. His favorite verse is 1 Corinthians 9:27: “ . . . but I punish my body and enslave it, so that after proclaiming to others I myself should not be disqualified."

He moved to Kentucky to attend Asbury University, where he completed a degree in worship arts with a minor in audio production. Josiah's favorite scripture passage is found in Isaiah 41:10, which says: "Fear not for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." In His free time, he enjoys hiking at Red River Gorge, watching movies, and playing sports.
